Photos - Ely Cathedral

We spent the day at Ely Cathedral and Apple Festival in Ely, which is 15 minutes by train out of Cambridge. Jason and Erika went with us, and we also met friends of theirs (Jesse and Kelly - they have 3 adorable/energetic kids, and Jesse is doing a PhD in Cambridge in Byzantine studies). It was a beautiful old cathedral (circa 1000s?)...and it was HUGE. Hope you enjoy these! We have a few more pictures we're trying to extract from Jaime's phone, yet... will get them up soon!

L: Jaime, at the Grave of Sir So-and-so Ponder-face.
R: This is Kelly's favorite picture of the day - the sun is shining through the stained-glass and projecting the images onto the stone wall.

L: This was the main stain-glass fixture.
R: More stained glass

L: The ceiling over the nave.
R: The ceiling/windows in the foyer.

L: Another memorial/grave.
